FreeFree.ps Fundraising Plan
Raising Funds for Palestine and Lebanon
Goals
To raise funds for organizations doing work in Palestine as well as Palestinians who have reached out requesting support. Out of several fundraising ideas that have been proposed this plan will focus on one idea to start with: selling t-shirts designed in Palestine with all of the proceeds going to Palestine. We believe that by doing this with full transparency we will distinguish ourselves from other t-shirts for Palestine on the market where an unclear amount of proceeds are donated to unknown causes.
Organizations
These are the organizations that we will raise funds for. We want to focus on organizations on the ground in Palestine and Lebanon. Other organizations may be added if they are doing work directly in Palestine.
Glia
Glia develops technology like 3D printable medical equipment for deployment to blockaded areas like Gaza. This year they have started sending medical expeditions to Gaza where they have established a clinic.
People
In addition to raising money for the above organizations, we will help promote and donate to campaigns for individuals and families seeking aid in Palestine and Lebanon.
Mega Fundraiser
There are so many people in Gaza who are desperate for help. Every family has their own GoFundMe, and everyone is competing with each other for attention.
What if instead there was a fundraiser that benefited many families all working together? This could be a lot more effective, and maybe we can develop a model that can be reproduced over and over again in Gaza instead of trying to scale up to on giant fundraiser for everyone.
Budget
List of Information Required
- How many t-shirts to start with for first order, how to gauge demand?
- Get a quote from ethical, sustainable suppliers
- Determine overhead costs of online store, distribution
Timeline
The goal for this project is to have t-shirts shipping in time for the holiday season in December, 2024.

Research
T-shirt Design
Hanin has a very nice drawing that the posted as her profile picture and in a video. She has agreed to let us use this image on the t-shirts. She may also be able to help us connect with other artists in Gaza but her safety is the priority.

Organizational Partner
We are an ad hoc group of individuals that cannot enter into contracts with suppliers and vendors. We either need to find an organization to partner with and take this project under its wing or look and incorporating into a not-for-profit organization ourselves.
